At Bale Capital, we are committed to respecting and promoting internationally recognised human rights, in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Our operations, including the sourcing, trading, distribution, and transportation of critical raw materials such as minerals, rare earths, petrochemical products, and fertilizers, are conducted with a firm commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and sustainability.
We implement rigorous human rights due diligence across our operations and supply chains. This involves ongoing identification, assessment, and management of actual and potential human rights impacts, with particular attention to high-risk areas such as child labour, forced labour, unsafe working conditions, and the rights of indigenous and local communities. We engage directly with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with our values and require that all parties uphold equivalent standards of ethical and lawful conduct.
We are committed to continuous improvement, regular monitoring, and the implementation of effective remediation processes where necessary. By integrating human rights considerations into our governance and risk management frameworks, we strive to ensure that our business contributes positively to social and economic development without compromising the rights and dignity of any individual.
We encourage any stakeholder with a human rights concern related to our operations or supply chain to contact us confidentially through our designated grievance mechanism, which is indicated below.
