Through our verifiable systems and processes in place, we guarantee the quality of the meat being exported is of the highest standard by:

1.  sourcing cattle from farms with good farm management, which have been roaming freely and thriving on green pastures or grain fed (based on our clients’ requirements) with great genetics, a calm temperament and strong muscle profile;
2. sourcing cattle that are hormone free and come from farms that practice sustainability and treat their animals humanely;
3. ensuring that product to be exported to China is only processed from China listed and approved abattoirs;
4. ensuring that the product to be exported is supported by accurate documentation confirming eligibility to China of the product from the abattoir/s; and
5. monitoring the product through the whole production lifecycle including when being exported to China and providing feedback to the relevant China listed abattoir and relevant cold store of any identified non-compliance.

Through the mandatory use of China registered export abattoirs our clients can be confident that our Australian meat is safe.

China registered export abattoirs, which we engage are required to have fully qualified inspectors stationed in each export meat abattoir to:

1. monitor quality assurance and meat safety throughout the production processes; and
2. conduct ante-mortem and post-mortem health inspections to ensure the safety and suitability of products of human consumption.
